Abstract<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This project has two goals; the first of which is to estimate the impact of an important new type of schooling instruction in the slums of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, using a cross-sectional data set that the PI and his student have collected. The second goal is to re-interview the children in the first round in order to produce a two-period panel data set, which will make the evaluation in the first goal more convincing. The study will collect data on family characteristics, the schooling history of the sampled children, child characteristics, and the distance between the closest school of each type and each child\u2019s home. Linear methods and propensity score matching will be used in their analysis.<\/p>\n\t
