These are official diplomas, with no expiration, that certify a person&#8217;s level of proficiency in Spanish, regardless of where and how they learned it.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>DELE Spanish diplomas<\/strong> are granted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cervantes.org\/\"><strong>Instituto Cervantes<\/strong><\/a> on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain. Different levels are established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are designed to assess a person&#8217;s overall communicative competence in Spanish (reading, listening, writing, and speaking).<\/p>\n<p>For adult candidates, there are six exam levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.<\/p>\n<p>For school-aged candidates (11-17 years), the Instituto Cervantes has adapted these levels to situations and communicative contexts appropriate for these age group, creating three exams: A1 Escolar (for Young Learners), A2\/B1 Escolar (for Young Learners), and B2\/C1 Escolar (for Young Learners).
