By the end of the course, students are expected to have a good grammatical understanding of the Tamil language and to have a vocabulary which makes it possible for them to handle all four aspects in Tamil language learning (speaking, listening, reading and writing) with ease and effectiveness. There will be an introduction to features of idiomatic Tamil and to everyday usages.
