The Hindi language course will be conducted by professional NUS teachers, applying communicative approaches to motivate students and enhance learning outcome. The Hindi course is a combination of fun and education. Learning Hindi gives you a better understanding through the grammar and even how the Hindi phrases are derived of the culture behind them. Competencies achieved through attending the progressive courses are useful to building confidence so as to enable the individual to speak, understand and read basic syntax in the newly-acquired language focus.<\/p>\n<p>Through the course, students will acquire basic linguistic and socio-cultural knowledge of the Hindi language. All participants will acquire basic grammar and vocabulary to perform authentic communicative tasks in everyday situations.<\/p>\n<p>After the course, the students will be able to comprehend short texts, as well as to express themselves in a variety of topical situations in daily life as well as during personal interactions. They will also gain an understanding of the target language society and observe how the language is used in context. They will acquire language learning and communication strategies that will support their language learning and language use. Successful completion of the language competencies are contingent upon participants&#8217; consistency in attendance, and the dedication of time to practice after each class session.<\/p>\n<p>A certificate of proficiency is awarded to participants who successfully complete Hindi 3.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tPre-requisites\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/clslang\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/33\/2020\/09\/8a-1-207x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"448\" \/><strong>NO MINIMUM STANDARD REQUIRED FOR EMBARKING ON THE COURSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hindi Language courses are designed in progression from Level 1 to Level 3. This corresponds to a beginner in the language focus to roughly the equivalent of Beginner Level.<\/p>\n<p>No specific pre-requisites are needed to enroll in Level 1.
