More than 300 million people speak French on the five continents. French is the second most widely learned foreign language after English, and the fifth most widely spoken language in the world.<\/p>\n

French is the international language of cooking, fashion, theatre, the visual arts, dance and architecture. A knowledge of French offers access to great works of literature in the original French, as well as films and songs. French is the language of Victor Hugo, Moli\u00e8re, L\u00e9opold Sendar Senghor, Edith Piaf, Jean-Paul Sartre, Alain Delon and Zinedine Zidane!<\/p>\n

The French Language courses are designed and structured for the busy working professionals who would like to develop the ability to communicate in French while getting a better insight into the French-speaking world culture and reality.<\/p>\n

The competencies achieved through attending the progressive courses will be useful to build confidence so as to enable the individual to understand better the French culture and learn about the Francophone world which is very fast and interesting.<\/p>\n

By the end of the courses 1 to 3, the students will have acquired basic communicative competencies useful in selected everyday situations and personal interactions, as well as vital strategies for language learning and language use. They will also be able to read and understand basic texts and exchange in French on subjects such as self-presentations, likes and dislikes, leisure activities, asking for directions, commenting on the weather, talking about food, fashion and travels, making appointments, choosing an accommodation and expressing agreements and disagreements.<\/p>\n

The French Language courses are designed in progression from Level 1 to Level 3. This corresponds to a beginner in the language focus to roughly the equivalent of Beginner Level.<\/p>\n

No specific pre-requisites are needed to enroll in Level 1. However, people who have intention to join mid-stage in the series of Levels are advised to conduct the placement test.<\/p>\n

Each course of content comprises some 30 hours, incorporating assessments and assignments. For each of the levels from 1 to 3, there will be an assessment (pass or fail) set for students to gauge their ability and readiness to continue onto the next higher level in French Language.<\/p>\n

Certificates of Participation will be granted to participants who have attended at least 70% of the classes\u00a0or<\/strong> successfully passed the final assessment<\/p>\n

Build a solid foundation in spoken French thanks this basic French course where you will use the language to communicate, make dialogues and present! During each lesson we will work on improving your speaking and listening skills while learning new vocabularies and revising basic grammar in fun and engaging way. You will also have plenty of French speaking practice and interactions with the other students.<\/p>\n

The course is designed for beginners of French or learners who have done 40 to 80 hours of French (3 months or more) equivalent to DELF A1, going towards DELF A2 level of French. Completion of French Level 2 or a placement test is required.<\/p>\n
