Dr Zhang Xinxin, Professor, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology
Dr Zhang Xinxin, a Tier-III Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, is serving as a member of the University Academic Committee and Chair of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory under the National Press and Publication Administration. He is also the founding discipline leader of China's first publishing doctoral program and an academic pioneer in digital publishing and cross-cultural communication. His research focuses on digital publishing and new media, intelligent publishing, transmedia communication, and cultural management and services. With over 15 published monographs, including "Digital Publishing Governance" and "Intelligent Publishing: Principles and Applications of Modern Publishing Technology," he has authored more than 140 academic papers, which have been cited 2,491 times and downloaded 122,132 times.

Abstract
This talk aims to provide an overview of the development of China's digital publishing industry from 2010 to 2025, covering its output value, product development, technology application, and dissemination strategies; analyze the curriculum design of digital publishing programs in Chinese universities; identify potential challenges in the industry; and propose strategies and approaches for pursuing a career in digital publishing within Chinese publishing houses.
