CNM Care Committee
The CNM Care Committee (CCC) is a resource for anyone in the Communications & New Media (CNM) department to consult on issues of bullying, harassment, equality, diversity, and inclusion. CCC provides a safe and accessible space for students and staff to speak and learn more about these issues. We also aim to educate and give visibility to these issues.
What the CNM Care Committee (CCC) does
- We affirm CNM’s commitment toward creating a positive, safe and inclusive environment for work and study.
- We serve as a point of contact for students and faculty on issues such as hate speech, cyberbullying, and sexual misconduct by informing them of resources that the university, department, and other organisations provide.
- We raise awareness of these issues through a variety of initiatives, such as posters, campaigns, and social media.
- We engage with students and faculty to discuss these issues through seminars and workshops.
- We reach out to student clubs, associations, and advocacy groups with similar interests, to keep the department updated on the issues that matter most to students, and provide support if needed.
