Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP)
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP) gives students a chance to participate in active research in their respective fields of study. It aims to engage students in the processes of intellectual inquiry, problem solving and creative thinking, and enhance intellectual exchange and collaboration between undergraduates and faculty. Students conduct research under the supervision of their projects during the semester, working full time on them during the vacation.
Students undertaking UROP will be registered in NM3551, and will be awarded 4 Modular Credits if they successfully complete the programme.
Students interested to find out more about UROPs offered in the semester, or would like to explore participating in UROP, may find out more information on the Student Portal.
