The challenge for organisations in this age is to harness the power of content and wield it strategically to communicate effectively with their stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>The MOC recognises that competency gap in the market, and is proud to be the first graduate programme to fill that void.<\/p>\n<p>We provide mentorship to groom our students into leaders in the digital field, and equip our graduates with cutting-edge expertise to firmly grasp the essence of data in their communication plans.<\/p>\n<p>Take the first step towards achieving those long-held aspirations by choosing from one of three specialisations:<\/p>\n     <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/cnm\/master-of-communication-strategic-communication-specialisation\/\">\n    <p>Strategic Communication Specialisation<\/p>    \n    <\/a>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/cnm\/master-of-communication-data-and-communication-specialisation\/\">\n        <p>Data and Communication Specialisation<\/p>\n   <\/a>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/cnm\/master-of-communication-global-media-communication-specialisation\/\">\n        <p>Global Media Communication Specialisation<\/p>\n   <\/a>\n\t<h2 id=\"why-this-programme\">Why This Programme?<\/h2>\n<p> Reach for the stars while standing on the shoulders of giants, by learning from leading figures in the media industry through an integrated mentorship programme.<\/p>\n<p> Tap on the strengths of the first graduate degree programme in Asia to focus on digital communication and leadership by shining a spotlight on new media and communication leadership, digital communication, and data analytics.<\/p>\n<p> Acquire job skills that are critical for success in the industry through a curriculum that examines and tackles current and emerging trends like those identified by the Singapore Government&#8217;s SkillsFuture Skills Framework for Media.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>Admission Requirements<\/h5>\n\t\t\t<p>Admission to the NUS MOC programme is granted on a competitive basis as places in the programme are limited. Applicants should possess the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td scope=\"row\">Academic<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree (preferably with Honours: Merit\/Second Class and above) in a related discipline, or equivalent (e.g. a four-year Bachelor&#8217;s degree with at least an average grade of B or equivalent)<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0Candidates with academic qualifications other than the above may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Board of Graduate Studies<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td scope=\"row\">Skill\/Experience<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>For holders of undergraduate qualifications other than a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree with Honours (see above), two years of relevant industry experience<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td scope=\"row\">English Language<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Applicants whose native tongue and medium of university instruction is not completely in English:<\/p>\n<p>Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum score of 100 (Internet-based) with minimum score of 22 for the writing section, or<\/p>\n<p>International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum Academic score of 7.0 and minimum score of 6.0 in each band, or equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0TOEFL \/ IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date and should not have expired at point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the application.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td scope=\"row\">Other<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an admission interview (telephone interviews or video conferencing interviews).<\/p>\n<p>An overall evaluation of candidate profiles will be considered for admission.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Candidates may visit the official\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ets.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-sf-ec-immutable=\"\" data-sf-marked=\"\">Educational Testing Service (ETS)<\/a>\u00a0website for scheduling of TOEFL\/GRE tests.<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0Applicants are responsible for ensuring that application information and all supporting documents are truthful and correct. NUS reserves the right to verify information provided as part of an application.
