The Doctor of Philosophy in Communications and New Media programme is a rigorous, research intensive programme for students who wish to pursue a career as a communication scholar or as a professional industry\/industry\/NGO based researcher. The programme is highly suitable for students who have a strong research interest in media studies, communication management, interactive media design, computational communication, political communication, and internet governance.<\/p>\n
Students have up to five years to complete the programme. Local students can either pursue the programme full-time or part-time, but international students must pursue the programme as full-time candidates.<\/p>\n
