Outside of coursework, students participate actively in research-related activities such as attending seminars and workshops. Collaboration with faculty members and fellow graduate schoolmates on research projects are also very common and highly encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the top peer-reviewed journals our graduate students have published in include <em>New Media &amp; Society<\/em>, <em>Telematics and Informatics<\/em>, <em>Media, Culture &amp; Society<\/em>, <em>Health Communication<\/em>, <em>Social Science Computer Review<\/em>, <em>Public Relations Review<\/em>, <em>Public Understanding of Science<\/em>, and <em>PLOS ONE<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tgCON\n\t<\/h2>\n<h4>\n\t\tAnnual CNM graduate student conference\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>gCON is the annual CNM graduate student research marquee event.
