International students on a student&#8217;s pass can pursue their studies on a full-time basis only. The maximum period of candidature for both full-time and part-time candidates in the PhD programme is 60 months.<\/p>\nAll graduate students are required to take the following research courses:<br \/>\nNM6101 &#8211; Advanced Theories in Communications and New Media<br \/>\nNM6103 &#8211; Quantitative Research Methods in Communications and New Media<br \/>\nNM6104 &#8211; Qualitative Research Methods in Communications and New Media<br \/>\nNM6770 &#8211; Graduate Research Seminar\n<p>In addition, students will need to read four elective courses (if enrolled from Aug 2019), or five elective courses (if enrolled before Aug 2019).<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tApplication Information\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Application is open from 16 May to 1 November every year.
