\n\t\tIntroduction\n\t<\/h3>\n

The NUS Chinese Studies Students’ Society (CSSS) was formed in 1992 and it is one of the clubs and societies under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS).<\/p>\n

The 3 main objectives of the NUSCSSS are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To bridge communication between professors\/teachers and students<\/li>\n
  2. To provide services and welfare for students in the Department, and to allow students to forge closer bonds and friendships<\/li>\n
  3. To promote the use of Chinese language and an understanding of Chinese culture and heritage locally, and to provide a range of information on local cultural activities and departmental events.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The annual activities organized by the NUSCSSS include: Orientation Camp, Welcome Tea sessions, festive celebrations (Teachers’ Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year), etc. On top of these, we also organize a range of seminars and talks for students in the department, such as: Academic Essay Writing Skills, Overseas Student Exchange Programme (SEP) sharing session, etc.<\/p>\n
