Timothy Wong<\/a> for winning Faculty Teaching Excellence Awards. \u00a0A total of 37 awards were given out to members of the Arts and Social Sciences Faculty for outstanding teaching in the academic year 2020-2021.<\/p>\nDr Vu joined the Department as lecturer in January 2019.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He teaches courses on macroeconomic analysis, machine learning, and programming tools for economics. His research focuses on economic growth.<\/p>\n
Dr Wong joined the Department as lecturer in 2015 and was promoted to senior lecturer in 2020. He teaches courses on intermediate microeconomics, industrial organization, transport economics, and urban economics. His research is on transport economics, specifically on estimating the willingness to pay for transport.<\/p>\n\t
