      Round 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Courses which are offered by the Department are open to all NUS students for selection in Round 3, subject to students meeting the respective course’s pre-requisite, co-requisite and\/or preclusion, and availability of vacancies of the respective courses.<\/p>\n

      Important Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. All General Education courses will be available for selection from Round 2.<\/li>\n
      2. EC1101E is available for selection to all NUS students from Round 2.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The Department is unable to answer queries pertaining to CourseReg access or system related issues. Such queries should be directed to the CourseReg helpdesk at https:\/\/nus.edu.sg\/coursereg\/contactus.html<\/a><\/p>\n

        Appeals <\/strong><\/h3>\n

        There are 4 types of appeals that students may submit via CourseReg@EduRec. Other types of appeals which are not listed below are not applicable and will be rejected by the Department.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Appeal for Waiver of Pre-requisites<\/li>\n
        2. Appeal for Course Enrolment<\/li>\n
        3. Appeal to Change Lecture Class<\/li>\n
        4. Appeal to Add\/Change Tutorial Class<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          The procedure for appeal varies by the type of appeal.<\/p>\n

          Appeal for Waiver of Pre-requisites<\/strong><\/h4>\n
            \n
          1. \u00a0 Waiver of pre-requisites is strictly not applicable to EC core courses. Please do not<\/u><\/strong> write to the course lecturer or the Department to appeal for waiver of pre-requisites for EC2101, EC2102, EC3101, EC3102, EC3303, and EC3304. Appeals which are submitted through CourseReg under type ‘Unable to Fulfil Requisites’ for any of the listed core courses will be rejected by default.<\/li>\n
          2. \u00a0 All EC4000 courses have the standard unit and GPA pre-requisite of ‘Completed 80 units, including 28 units in EC, with a minimum GPA of 3.20 or be on the Honours track’. Please do not<\/u><\/strong> write to the course lecturer or the Department to appeal for a waiver of the unit or the GPA requirement. The Department adheres strictly to the two requirements and does not grant any waiver. All students are required to meet the unit and GPA requirements before they read EC4000 courses. Appeals which are submitted through CourseReg under type ‘Unable to Fulfil Requisites’ to waive the unit and\/or GPA requirement will be rejected by default.<\/li>\n
          3. \u00a0 Students may appeal for waiver of pre-requisites for elective courses. All appeals must be submitted via CourseReg under type ‘Unable to Fulfil Requisites’. Appeals through telephone calls or emails will not be considered. Follow the steps below:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Scenario 1: <\/strong>You would like to enrol to EC4351 but have not completed EC3351 which is one of the required pre-requisites. You meet all other requirements of the course (including the unit and GPA of 3.20).<\/p>\n
