The Award is set up to provide support and recognition for men and women who have demonstrated distinctive solutions to address social challenges within communities in Asia, and who are committed to transforming lives for the better.

The award may be given to individuals, groups or local organisation who have made an impact in society in Asia. The solutions may be either technological or non-technological.   It will provide stipends and connections to a global network across the business and social sectors.

Through this award, we hope to encourage social innovations that can make a positive impact on communities. The long-term goal is to build communities of social innovators who work together to transform society and design new ways for communities to be more entrepreneurial, productive and connected.
