Congratulations to the prize winners!<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>1st Prize ($10,000):<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Danial Matin B Zaini for \u201c<em>Circle Around a Square<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>2nd Prize ($6,000):<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Soh Kai Xin for \u201c<em>Eclipse<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>3rd Prize ($4,000):<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Firqin Binte Sumartono for <em>\u201cADILA\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Honourable Mention:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Felix Cheong Seng Fei for \u201c<em>Inconvenience of Minor Parts<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>The prize winners will be notified by email and will be required to attend the Award presentation.\u00a0 Details of the event will be provided closer to the date.<\/p>\r\n<p>The biennial Goh Sin Tub Creative Writing Prize was established by the late Dr Sylvia Goh with an endowed gift to the Department of English Language and Literature at the National University of Singapore in memory and recognition of her late husband, Goh Sin Tub, who was one of Singapore\u2019s best-known local writers.<\/p>\r\n<p>Goh Sin Tub and Dr Sylvia Goh are both alumni of the University of Malaya (UM), one of NUS\u2019 predecessor institutions. The Prize commemorates Goh Sin Tub\u2019s life, achievements and support for education.<\/p>\r\n<p>The genre for this Competition is Drama. Subsequent competitions will feature other literary genres. The competition is open to all members of the NUS community at the time of submission of entry.<\/p>\r\n<p>The closing date for the competition was 31 August 2021.
