Using computer hardware and GIS software, we can display, query, analyse, and interpret geospatial data in visual ways, revealing patterns and relationships in the geographic world. GIS enables us to understand what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen in geographic space. Students will gain knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data handling. They will gain skills for properly processing, preparing, using, and managing GIS data. These are the intermediate-level knowledge and skills demanded by the geospatial industry.
