\n\t\t\tNUS Geography Now\t<\/h4>\n\tCongratulations to Assistant Professor Luo Xiangzhong (Remi)<\/strong> and the SIGMA<\/a>\u00a0team, whose collaborative research project was selected for the Google DeepMind AI for the Planet Accelerator<\/a>.\nSIGMA was one of just 16 projects selected from 680 applications across Asia-Pacific. Co-led by NUS and the University of Illinois, the project aims to strengthen food security, environmental sustainability and community resilience across Southeast Asia through research and innovation.\n
