Historian of Modern China (Tenure-track)

The Department of the History at the National University of Singapore seeks an outstanding historian of modern China with an emphasis on (but not limited to) Chinese diaspora in Southeast Asia. The appointment will be full-time, tenure-track, at the level of Assistant Professor, with an expectation of starting on the 1st of July, 2021.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The Department of History at the National University of Singapore is pleased to offer one postdoctoral fellowship in connection with this unfolding research project: Great Powers and Globalizing China During the 'Century of Humiliation,' 1842-1949. This will be a two-year full-time appointment, beginning 1 January 2021. The successful candidate will become an investigator in this project, directed by Professor Brian P. Farrell.
