\n\t\tArt History Minor Requirements\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\tFor 2026 cohort and after<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Pass at least 20 units of AH or AH-recognised courses, which include the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. GEC1055 700 Years of Visual Arts: Singapore in the World<\/li>\n
  2. a minimum of 4 units at level-3000<\/li>\n
  3. a maximum of 4 units of AH-recognised courses<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    While it is not required, students looking to complete the AH Minor are strongly encouraged to read AH3204 Methods and Approaches to Art History.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tFor 2021-2025 cohort<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Pass at least 20 units of AH or AH-recognised courses, which include the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Pass at least 4 units from the following core courses (see Note 1):
      \n–\u00a0 AH2101 Introduction to Art History
      \n–\u00a0 GEC1055 700 Years of Visual Arts: Singapore in the World<\/li>\n
    2. a minimum of 4 units at level-3000<\/li>\n
    3. a maximum of 4 units of AH-recognised courses<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Students only need to read one core course for the AH Minor.\u00a0 Additional core courses read can still be counted towards the 20 units required for the Minor.<\/li>\n
      2. While it is not required, students looking to complete the AH Minor are strongly encouraged to read AH3204 Methods and Approaches to Art History<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\tFor 2019-2020 cohort<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

        Pass at least 20 units of AH, AH-recognised courses, which include the following:<\/p>\n

        1. AH2101 Introduction to Art History<\/li>\n

While it is not mandatory, students are advised to read AH2202: Modern Art: A Critical Introduction and AH3201: A History of Contemporary Art before \/ in conjunction with AH3202: Time Traveller: The Curatorial in Southeast Asia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\tFor 2015-2018 cohort<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

            Pass at least 24 units of AH, AH-recognised courses, which include the following:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. AH2101 Introduction to Art History<\/li>\n
            2. A minimum 8 units at level-3000<\/li>\n
            3. Where applicable, at least 12 units must be taken from outside the full set of modules that make up the student’s primary major. Up to 8 units of courses may be used to meet the requirements of both the Major and Minor programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
