Single Major (B.A.)<\/h3>\n

To major in Japanese Studies, students need to:<\/p>\nPass JS1101E. This will be counted towards the Faculty Core or UE requirements.
\nPass at least 44 units of JS courses or JS-recognised courses<\/a> or LAJ courses which include the following:\n

    \n
  1. JS2101<\/li>\n
  2. JS3101<\/li>\n
  3. LAJ1201 *<\/li>\n
  4. LAJ2201 *<\/li>\n
  5. LAJ2202 *<\/li>\n
  6. LAJ2203 *<\/li>\n
  7. a minimum of 20 units at level-3000 or higher (including JS3101)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    * Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Students who are waived from LAJ course(s) should read JS course(s) to make up the minimum units required.<\/li>\n
