The Methods School is organized in cooperation with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Political Science Association<\/a>. IPSA&#8217;s mission is to promote empirical research in political science and related disciplines around the world, and the IPSA-NUS Methods School forms the Asian-Pacific hub in a global network of methods programs, with other summer schools hosted at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flacso.edu.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flacso M\u00e9xico<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www5.usp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of S\u00e3o Paulo<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/antalya.edu.tr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antalya Bilim University<\/a>, and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.ru\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Research University Higher School of Economics<\/a>\u00a0in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p>The IPSA-NUS Methods School offers rigorous training with outstanding and highly experienced, award-winning international <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/instructors\/\">faculty<\/a>\u00a0in a wide range of social science research methods. For up-to-the-minute information about the latest Methods School activities, you can also follow us on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MethodsSchool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Join us\u00a0on a journey of learning and discovery!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>History<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-0\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-0\">10th IPSA-NUS Methods School (2021)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-0\"><i title=\"Collapse\">Collapse<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary edition of the <em>IPSA-NUS Summer School for Social Science Research Methods<\/em> took place in July 2021 (<a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/home\/gallery\/gallery-2021\/\">pictures<\/a>). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to allow international participants to attend, it was held online for the second year in a row. Having successfully adjusted to the &#8216;new&#8217; online environment, the Methods School was able to offer 18 basic to advanced, quantitative and qualitative research methods <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/courses\/previous-course-offerings\/\">courses<\/a>, including a brand new course on <a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/courses\/computational-models\/\">Computational Models of Social Behavior<\/a>. More than 200\u00a0<a href=\"\/methods-school\/community\/#alumni-classes-5\">participants<\/a>\u00a0from all corners of the globe traveled to Singapore to attend one or more of 19 quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and formal methods\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/courses\/previous-course-offerings\/\">courses<\/a>. Its nine\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/methods-school\/courses\/previous-course-offerings\/\">courses<\/a>\u00a0in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods attracted more than 100\u00a0<a href=\"\/methods-school\/community\/#alumni-classes-2\">participants<\/a>\u00a0from over 30 different countries.
