{"id":213,"date":"2020-09-01T07:24:09","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T07:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/sea\/?page_id=213"},"modified":"2026-06-17T12:52:56","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T04:52:56","slug":"application-financial-aid","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/sea\/application-financial-aid\/","title":{"rendered":"Application &amp; Financial Aid"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\t\tApplication &amp; Financial Aid\t<\/h2>\n\t<h4><strong><u>When can I apply for the SEP?<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Students who are interested in the Semester in SEA Exchange Programme must submit their Student Exchange Programme (SEP) application through the <a href=\"https:\/\/myedurec.nus.edu.sg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Education Records System (EduRec)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are 2 rounds of application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round 1 &#8211; August\/September (For SEP in Semester 1 or Semester 2)<\/li>\n<li>Round 2 &#8211; February\/March (For SEP in Semester 2 only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students will be notified of the exact application timeline by the Faculty of Arts &amp; Social Sciences International Relations team through an email sent in February and September each year.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Eligibility<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Southeast Asian Studies major students who are interested in participating in the Semester-in-SEA exchange programme should fulfill the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered as a full-time undergraduate student<\/li>\n<li>Have successfully completed at least 1 semester upon application and 2 semesters upon admission to the assigned Partner University<\/li>\n<li>Have completed a minimum of 12 UTs in Southeast Asian Studies (excluding language courses)<\/li>\n<li>Have read or waived from 2 levels of language courses in the same language track (LAB, LAT or LAV)<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum GPA of at least 3.00 and preferably not have any grade below &#8216;C&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Have the financial resources for personal and living expenses for the duration of the SEP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students are\u00a0<u>not allowed<\/u>\u00a0to go on SEP in their graduating semester (i.e. final semester of studies).<\/p>\n<p>For complete information and guidelines on applying for Student Exchange Programme, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/student-exchange-programme-sep\/\"><strong>FASS Website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Application &amp; Financial Aid When can I apply for the SEP?
