Research Interest: Sociology of Health and Illness, Social demography, Life course and Aging, Health disparity, Southeast Asia

Timothy Low is currently a master student at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, National University of Singapore. He obtained a BSocSc (Magna cum laude) from the Singapore Management University where he majored in Political Science and Sociology.

Previously, he was a research assistant at the NUS Centre for Family and Population Research (CFPR) working on the Vietnam Health and Aging Study (VHAS). The study explored mechanisms of association between diverse exposures to armed conflict during the Vietnam War and multiple dimensions of health and wellbeing among older adults.
