The President's Graduate Fellowship (PGF) is awarded to incoming PhD candidates who show exceptional promise or accomplishment in research. PGF recipients can be from any nationalities.
· Each PGF carries a monthly stipend, tuition fee subsidy, a one-off air travel allowance, and a one-off settling allowance.
· The PGF is initially awarded for one year and renewable each semester based on the scholar’s performance. The maximum award is four years.
· PGF recipients typically demonstrate exemplary academic record (i.e., top performance in undergraduate/graduate studies), strong research potentials (i.e., credible signs of research ability, interests that might lead to a path-breaking piece of work), strong ethical characters and high potential to succeed at NUS.
