Research Interest: Aging and Health, Family and Household Demography, Marriage and the Life Course

I am a current Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, National University of Singapore, and a member of the Centre for Family and Population Research. I obtained my master's degree in Statistics from the National University of Singapore.

My research focuses on population aging and long-term care in China, particularly the care needs of disabled older adults and how these needs are shaped by household and living arrangements. I work with large-scale longitudinal surveys such as the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) and the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS), and use cohort-component projection methods (ProFamy) to produce probabilistic household and living arrangement projections. I am also interested in marital status transitions and family change across Asia.
