Research Interest:  Anthropology of business and organisations, humour practices, cultural identity, and art. 

I am a Ph.D. student in Anthropology at the Department of Sociology, National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Lecturer at the Department of Global Studies, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). Prior to joining NUS, I obtained my Bachelor degree in Sociology at AL-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master’s degree in Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Virginia, United States.
