Research Interest:\u00a0 <\/em>Gender, Migration, Singlehood, Qualitative Methods<\/p>\n

I am a current Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, National University of Singapore. Prior to my Ph.D. study, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and later my Master’s degree in Gender Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.<\/p>\n

My dissertation focuses on Chinese single skilled migrants in Singapore, with a particular focus on the intersections between transnational mobility and transforming gender dynamics. I also study international student migration and stay-at-home motherhood across borders.<\/p>\n
