He is also a recipient of the NUS President&#8217;s Graduate Fellowship. He obtained a M.Soc.Sci (Sociology) from NUS and a BSocSc (Political Science and Sociology) from the Singapore Management University.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, he was a research assistant at the NUS Centre for Family and Population Research (CFPR) working on the Vietnam Health and Aging Study (VHAS). The study explored mechanisms of association between diverse exposures to armed conflict during the Vietnam War and multiple dimensions of health and wellbeing among older adults.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sociology of Health and Illness, Life course and Aging, Sociology of Family, Southeast Asia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Timothy&#8217;s research interest lies in health disparity, aging and social demography.
