Singapore Writers Festival 2012

The Singapore Writers Festival returns this November with a 10-day programme tackling the theme of Origins. The festival will run from 2 to 11 November 2012 and will see 185 writers involved in 200 programmes.
Currently in its fifteenth edition, the festival will feature renowned international writers—including essayist Pico Iyer and Man Asian Literary Prize winner Shin Kyung-sook—as well as a host of local speakers. FASS faculty members and students, both former and present, speaking at events include Boey Kim Cheng, Zizi Azah, Robin Loon, Gwee Li Sui, Ovidia Yu, Chitra Sankaran, Grace Chia Krakovic, Felix Cheong, Ho Chee Lick, and Lee Tzu Pheng.
