Zizi Azah wants her plays to reflect issues that knit people across social and racial divides. Having graduated from NUS with a major in Philosophy and Sociology, her first professional foray into lighting design was with Ekamatra, for Sigelap: The Musical in 2000, at Jubilee Hall. She believes in focusing on the big picture and never rests on her laurels.
