An International Conversation: The Next 50 Years for Singapore

The Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) believes it is important to understand how regional and international trends affect Singapore’s future and the ongoing efforts to secure its position as a leading city in Asia and the world.
“An International Conversation: The Next 50 Years for Singapore” is a workshop that aims to gather views from globally-minded Singaporeans and foreigners based here by allowing them to exchange ideas and insights freely. The discussion will be based on the following topics:
- Singapore as a Hub
- Managing Economic Growth
- Changing Social Norms
- Sustainability and Livability
The workshop is part of the SIIA’s Future 50 (F50) programme which is a two-year long programme which intends to map out “The 50 Year Future for Singapore in Asia and the World”.
