The Anthology of Chinese Dialect Nursery Rhymes in Singapore was released last month, and is a rich collection of 50 songs in 5 dialects: Cantonese, Hokkien, Hainanese, Teochew and Hakka. A/P Lee Cheuk Yin from the Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore worked with Dr Kang Ger Wen to collect the dialect nursery rhymes in Singapore since 2011.
