Musculoskeletal patients face highest risk of large hospital bills, 13 May 2014, Page 6.

It was reported that a study by two NUS researchers has found that patients with conditions that affect the muscles, bones and joints or those with cancer or heart disease face the highest risk of racking up large hospital bills. Associate Professor Tilak Abeysinghe from the Department of Economics at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences who co-authored the study and presented it recently at the Singapore Health Economics Association conference, said that the data was obtained through contacts in the healthcare sector.
