A wealth of FASS Professors feature in a recent article in the New York Times by journalist Jane A. Paterson.
The article, ‘In New Textbook, the Story of Singapore Begins 500 Years Earlier’ describes how A/P John N. Miksic (Department of Southeast Asian Studies) is behind the revision of the new Singapore school text, “Singapore: The Making of a Nation-State, 1300-1975.”

The other FASS Faculty featured include A/P Peter Borschberg, Prof Brian Farrell, Kwa Chong Guan, Prof Tan Tai Yong and Dr Quek Ser Hwee (all from the Department of History).
