Writer of the Week

A/P Hussin Mutalib (Dept. of Political Science) started writing to the Forum page of the Straits Times in the 1980s when there was a dearth of effective voices articulating the challenges and grievances of the Malay-Muslim community, making it a much misunderstood one.

The Straits Times has given him the title of ‘Writer of The Week’ for his contribution to alternative ideas for a better Singapore.
