Conducted by Professor Wolfgang Lutz of the Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital, this seminar entitled “Is Singapore’s Birth Rate Too Low?” aims to examine the question from various perspectives. Professor Wolfgang Lutz proposes that a fertility level somewhat below replacement level may be optimal for a highly educated modern society such as Singapore’s. More details here.
