A\/P Irene Ng from the Department<\/span> of Social Work at the National University of Singapore, has found that Singaporeans are more likely to attribute poverty to societal factors compared to survey respondents in Britain and other countries. &#8220;Helping the poor does involve changing mindsets. It might be the poor&#8217;s, but it could also be yours or mine&#8221; she said\u00a0in the Straits Times on January 30, 2014.
