It was the focus of a study commissioned by the National Heritage Board (NHB) to help &#8220;uncover Singapore&#8217;s connection to the Malay world&#8221;, according to board&#8217;s group director of policy, Mr Alvin Tan. Spending hours on site from December 2013 to May 2014, the team marked out the graves for documentation.
