The title alludes to Mrs Wee\u2019s inauspicious Chinese zodiac and her 66 years of memories as a Singaporean. For the vivacious 90-year-old Wee, her first book is the result of a prolific career and her unapologetic, go-getter lifestyle. Her wit and academic prowess is reflected in this memoir, a nostalgic read for those who have fond memor<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">ies of Singapore\u2019s yesteryears. It also provides a refreshing insight from her non-native perspective. For the young, Mrs. Wee\u2019s target audience, the book aims to explicate the reasons for Singapore\u2019s success and initial struggles.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Mrs Wee will be taking questions about her book at the National Library Board on 28 December 2016 as part of The Big Read Meet.
