But what do you know of his eldest son? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Lim Kho Seng may not quite be as famed as the \u2018grand old man of the Singapore Chinese community\u2019. But according to Associate Professor Wong Sin Kiong from the Department of Chinese Studies, that is because this son of Singapore was making splashes overseas instead. After studying in the University of Edinburgh, he came to China in 1924.
