Poetry Festival Singapore is a society funded by the National Arts Council which offers a multilingual, multicultural, and multi-generational platform for poets and poetry enthusiasts in the appreciation of the art of poetry in Singapore. Poetry Festival Singapore also aims to develop the written and spoken word in the island\u2019s four official languages and to organize events and activities related to the literary arts.<\/p>\n
Poetry Festival Singapore is currently having an Open Call for papers for the 2nd Singapore Literature Conference. The theme of the symposium is \u201cMetamorphosis of Singapore.” They are interested in papers that explore the theme in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, or drama over time from a wide range of perspectives and disciplines, and welcome papers in English, Chinese, Malay, or Tamil.<\/p>\n
The deadline for submissions will be Monday, December 31, 2018. The actual conference is slated to take place on Saturday July 27, 2019.<\/p>\n
Multiple abstracts may be submitted to nationalpoetryfestival@gmail.com by December 31, 2018.<\/p>\n
