Poetry Festival Singapore also aims to develop the written and spoken word in the island\u2019s four official languages and to organize events and activities related to the literary arts.<\/p>\n<p>Poetry Festival Singapore is currently having an Open Call for papers for the 2nd Singapore Literature Conference. The theme of the symposium is \u201cMetamorphosis of Singapore.&#8221; They are interested in papers that explore the theme in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, or drama over time from a wide range of perspectives and disciplines, and welcome papers in English, Chinese, Malay, or Tamil.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submissions will be Monday, December 31, 2018.
