She touched upon how Asian families in different regions have transformed since the 1970s due to a decline in fertility and marriage rates as well as ideological evolution. Prof Yeung underscored the implications of the aging trend and the changing families in the region. Her work on productive aging and challenges in long-term care was highlighted. On human development, she shared her work on youth and young adults\u2019 human capital development and challenges in uncertain labor markets. Finally, Prof Yeung showed results from the Singapore Longitudinal Early Development Study (SG LEADS) on early childhood development.
