Dear NUS Staff\/Students,<\/p>\n

You are invited to a Roundtable Discussion titled \u2018<\/strong>Trans and Gender-Nonconforming Lives\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this roundtable discussion, we invite six speakers who identify as transgender and gender-nonconforming and\/or have worked closely with trans and gender-nonconforming people to share their stories and experiences with us. This will be followed by a Q&A session where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and join the larger conversation.<\/p>\n

Moderator: Michelle Ho (she\/her), Assistant Professor and Steering Committee Member of Gender and Sexuality Research Cluster (GSRC)<\/p>\n

Opening\u00a0and Welcome: Audrey Yue (she\/her), Head of Department and Professor, Communications and New Media<\/p>\n

Speakers:<\/p>\n

Jolene Tan (she\/her), an NUS student and member of TransNUS,\u00a0a peer support and representation group for trans students in NUS<\/p>\n

Ashlee Tan (she\/her), a trans student at Millennia Institute<\/p>\n

Quen Wong (she\/her), a freelance filmmaker and volunteer at Transbefrienders, a peer support service for trans youths in Singapore<\/p>\n

Seth (he\/him), researcher and volunteer at Transbefrienders, a peer support service for trans youths in Singapore<\/p>\n

Shu Min Yuen (she\/her), NUS Department of Japanese Studies<\/p>\n

Stella Tan (she\/her), NUS Associate Provost of Student Conduct<\/p>\n

It will be held on 26 March 2021 <\/strong>from 11am \u2013 1 pm (Singapore Standard Time).<\/strong><\/p>\n
