Congratulations to Professor Wang Gungwu (NUS History), Chairman of the NUS East Asian Institute and University Professor who won the Singapore Literature Prize on August 25, 2022!<\/p>\n

Home Is Where We Are <\/em>(NUS Press, 2020), the second part of Prof Wang\u2019s memoirs, topped the English creative non-fiction category. Prof Wang is one of the two oldest winners (both aged 91) of the Singapore Literature Prize.<\/p>\n

The Singapore Literature Prize is Singapore\u2019s oldest ongoing literary prize in all four official languages. The winners for this year were announced at a ceremony in Victoria Theatre.<\/p>\n
