Jungup Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at NUS. Her research interests include cyberbullying, school violence and safety, child maltreatment, online harassment, technology-facilitated sexual misconduct, juvenile justice, and youth mental health and digital well-being.<\/p>\n

Ee Cheng Ong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at NUS. She teaches economics of inequality and labour economics, as well as introductory and intermediate microeconomics.<\/p>\n

\nResearch Fellow
\n\n\t\t\t Dr. Meixi is a Research Fellow at the Social Service Research Centre whose work explores the intersections of culture, learning, health, and the ethical nature of human development across the lifespan. She specializes in community-based participatory design research that strengthens the collective health and intergenerational resilience of families, and the lands and waters they call home. Grounded in land-based stories, her scholarship bridges studies of place and the politics of learning, schooling inequities, climate education, and trans-Indigenous solidarities to imagine and design more thriving social and ecological futures.

Dr. Hendra Goh is a Research Fellow at the Social Service Research Centre. Hendra completed his doctoral training in Public Health under joint supervision from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Duke-NUS Medical School. Prior to this, he obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Hong Kong. Trained in qualitative and survey research methods across diverse fieldwork settings, Hendra focuses on advancing population health through disease prevention, psychosocial health promotion, and chronic disease management. He values multidisciplinary collaboration and is committed to contributing to meaningful and sustainable public health impact.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBiodata\n\t\t<\/a>\n

\nAdjunct Senior Research Fellow
\n\n\t\t\t

Ong Qiyan is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Social Service Research Centre. She specializes in using behavioral and applied economics to study individual decision-making and the effects and performances of different policy designs. Her research spans a range of behavioral domains. Her recent research includes studies on cognitive reasons for debt in low-income households, performance of transnational marriage support programs and social service office models, as well as performance of different types of incentives on motivating prosocial behavior.

Goh Mingyuan Asher graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Sociology at NTU. Before joining SSR, Asher was a research assistant at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, where he was involved in research related to public rental housing and youth risks in Singapore. Asher’s research interests lie in social policy, poverty and inequality. He was previously involved in the “Evaluation of Social Services Offices” research project and is now involved in the “In-work Poverty and Challenges of Getting By Among the Young” project.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBiodata\n\t\t<\/a>\n

\nResearch Associate
\n\n\t\t\t

Tan Zhi Han joined NUS SSR as a data analyst for the “In-work Poverty and Challenges of Getting By Among the Young<\/a>” project. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sociology and Economics. He conducts training and capability building on survey design for research and evaluation. His research interests include inequalities in education and income, social mobility, and emerging social welfare models.<\/p>\n
