We wanted to support our partners in the field by highlighting stories of youth who struggle with mental health conditions. The department also wanted to use the artwork to invite students to reflect on how they can be a part of the journey to empower and uplift the lives of others.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/swk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2023\/07\/inspire-hope.png\" alt=\"inspire-hope\" height=\"584\" width=\"643\" title=\"inspire-hope\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/swk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2023\/07\/swk-samh.png\" alt=\"swk-samh\" height=\"215\" width=\"1448\" title=\"swk-samh\" \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tHopes For The Future\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>\u201cBeen struggling with anxiety during my late teens after my A-Levels. When I stepped into the workforce, that is when I began to have anxiety. All along since young I have been struggling to fit in with my peers as I also have autism. In this postcard design painting, my hope is for society to be more inclusive of those with disabilities and the disadvantaged (e.g. those living with mental health conditions), so that no one will be left behind, and the disadvantaged and those with disabilities could also integrate back and also can contribute to society in meaningful ways.\u201d<\/p>\n\t<p>Written by youth who struggles with anxiety and depression<\/p>\n\t<p>There are many youths and individuals in our society today who struggle with mental health conditions.
