Prof Jill_LAUNCH_HR_56\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<\/figure>\n\t<strong>September 2017<br \/>\n<\/strong>A series of public lectures on social work practice research to expand the knowledge base among social work practitioners and students begins: <strong>What is Good Practice Research<\/strong> by then S R Nathan Professor of Social Work, Dr Ian Shaw from the University of York, United Kingdom; <strong>Service Evaluation and Development<\/strong> in Jan 2018 by Associate Prof Timothy Sim from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR.\n\t<strong>24 May 2018<br \/>\n<\/strong>Inaugural Singapore Social Work Practice Research Conference. Prof Lynette Joubert, Professor of Social Work at the University of Melbourne&#8217;s School of Health Sciences; Prof Ian Shaw, then S R Nathan Professor of Social Work and Emeritus Professor at the University of York, England; Prof Lars Uggerhoj, Professor of Social Work from the University of Aalborg, Denmark; and Associate Professor Timothy Sim from the Hongkong Polytechnic University.
