Please note for timetable planning for graduation purposes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>With effect from AY 2026\/27<\/strong>, SW2106, SW 3101, SW3105, SW4102 and SW4103 will each be offered in one semester per academic year.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><b>Students who declare Social Work as major after 1st semester of 1st Year<\/b><\/h5>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/fass.nus.edu.sg\/swk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2020\/09\/field_placement_academic_requirement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Implications(opens in new tab)<\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Registration for SW4401<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who wish to register for SW4401 (Honour Thesis &#8211; HT) should register in the semester that you will be submitting your HT for the semester-long thesis.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>However, students should first inform the 4th Year Coordinator of your intention to do HT in the first semester of your Honours year for a supervisor to be assigned to you.<\/li>\n<li>Students should then proceed to register for HT in Semester 2 (the semester that student will be submitting) to the Department.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please refer to FASS Student Portal for Honours Thesis timeline on Registration and grade Penalty for semester-long Honours Thesis <a href=\"https:\/\/myportal.nus.edu.sg\/studentportal\/fas\/ug\/currentstd\/honours.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here(opens in new tab)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Registration for SW4660<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who wish to register for SW4660 (Independent Study Module &#8211; ISM) should only do so in the second semester of your Honours year.
